Position Summary
ASI Federal Credit Union, a Certified Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Credit Union (CDCU), who serves a diverse low to moderate income field of membership is in search of a President/CEO. The ideal candidate should be strategic and innovative, with a proven track record of leadership. ASI FCU is seeking a leader that will understand and embrace its vision of the elimination of poverty in the communities we serve. This candidate should have a passion for the underserved and knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) and continuous process improvements. The incoming Executive will collaborate with the Board of Directors and the executive staff to ensure the credit union continues to remain financially sound and the strategic initiatives established by the credit union are achieved. The charismatic leader must possess strength in problem solving, human relations, coupled with effective verbal and written communication skills while continuing to promote the credit unions brand within the community. Candidates must have at least ten years of credit union management experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Social Sciences or related field from an accredited educational institution is required, an MBA is highly desirable.
